Our History

The Lupi family's tanning tradition began in 1938 and continues today at BCN Concerie, a leading company in the leather sector and a partner of leading international fashion and luxury brands.

Our business model valorizes and reuses waste generated by the food industry, transforming it into high-quality materials through certified and innovative processes.

We combine artisanal expertise with cutting-edge technologies, focusing on research, development, and sustainability, including through projects aimed at reducing environmental impact.

BCN is part of the Santa Croce Tanning District, an ecosystem that combines manufacturing excellence with a focus on ESG aspects. We contribute to enhancing the District's circularity, extending our commitment to an increasingly sustainable supply chain.

In recent years, we have experienced strong growth thanks to investments in facilities, technology, and human capital. Today, we offer a broad and diversified portfolio of calfskin and baby calfskin products for footwear, leather goods, and apparel, from full-grain to high-quality suede, painted and brushed-off leathers.

In 2023, we launched a major reorganization and an innovative expansion project, including a modern production facility with advanced technologies aimed at further improving the quality and sustainability of our products, to continue growing and consolidate our role of excellence in the world of premium leather.
