BCN x ReVOC4LIFE

BCN Concerie is the protagonist of a LIFE Programme project: ReVOC4LIFE. LIFE Programme is the European programme dedicated entirely to the environment.

The tannery manages all direct impacts on the environment, such as water management through the District Wastewater Treatment Plant and production waste, except emissions into the atmosphere of VOCs which are however continuously monitored by the responsible offices.

BCN has combined the objective of protecting Air Quality and the Quality of the Local Community Life, in so far as some studies have shown the correlation between the purity of the air and the diffusion capacity of the COVID-19 virus.

The development of the sustainable fashion chain stems from the intention to do better, combining knowledge and specifications of different sectors, which can provide technologies but also different and innovative points of view.
